In the Arrival of the Prince, author James Rutledge weaves a surprisingly believable and scientifically accurate story that chronicles Lucifer's timeless efforts to produce DNA that is compatible with humans. His growing successes lead to a deadly confrontation between the forces of good and evil on the steps of the venerable St. Mary's of Zion church in Axum, Ethiopia.

Scientists first happen on to Lucifer's efforts with the discovery of twelve ancient stone tablets in different archaeological sites around the world. The tablets are covered with a mysterious writing that predates other written languages by thousands of years. When finally deciphered, a strange connection between the stones and human DNA is determined.

The angel in the cave. For thousands of years, local villagers have considered the relic in the cave to be divine. However in July of 2006, scientists traveled to the village south of Tabriz in northern Iran to take a closer look at the strange remains. Subsequent DNA tests confirm that it is not human. To date, the being is still unclassified, although since it was bipedal, it was clearly a hominid; therefore, scientists have named it Homo Uizhun-Tabriz. The villagers call it Pandera.
